Annotation: We present our readers with a critical review of Professor Vladimir Leonov on the Nobel Prize in Physics 2020. Vladimir Leonov is a well-known theoretical physicist, author of the fundamental “Theory of Superunification”, inventor of the antigravitational quantum engine, laureate of the Russian Government Prize in Science and Technology. The theory of Superunification first introduced the quantum theory of black holes and the quantum theory of gravity, starting in 1996. Quantum theory of gravity and quantum theory of black holes are absent from Einstein's general theory of relativity and from the works of Professor Penrose, nominated for the 2020 Nobel Prize. Professor Leonov asks a logical question: "Why is the Nobel Prize awarded for the poor work of Professor Penrose, who does not even consider the quantum theory of black holes?" And Leonov's the theory of Superunification solved in full the fundamental problems of black holes from quantum positions. But no one makes reference to the fundamental work of Professor Leonov. Charles Darwin wrote one book and has been referenced for over 150 years. It is accepted in polite society. Otherwise, we are dealing with fraud. On the other hand, the only parameter that characterizes a black hole from the point of view of general relativity is its gravitational radius. However, it is not yet possible to measure it experimentally due to the invisibility of the black hole. We have no reason to say that general relativity has been confirmed experimentally in the field of black holes. The Nobel committee was clearly rushing with the 2020 physics prize, contrary to Nobel's will.

The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has decided to award the Nobel Prize in Physics 2020 with one half to Roger Penrose “for the discovery that black hole formation is a robust prediction of the general theory of relativity" and and the other half jointly to Reinhard Genzel and Andrea Ghez "for the discovery of a supermassive compact object at the centre of our galaxy" https://www.nobelprize.org/prizes/physics/, 6 October 2020.
We asked Professor Vladimir Leonov to comment on this event. Vladimir Leonov is a well-known theoretical physicist, author of the fundamental “Theory of Superunification” (Cambridge International Science Publishing, 2010, 745 pages), inventor of the antigravitational quantum engine, laureate of the Russian Government Prize in Science and Technology.
– Vladimir Semеnovich, does the study of black holes have any practical significance? Where are they, black holes, and where are we? Your position is known – they are a giant accumulator of dark energy. But we use black gold – oil, and other hydrocarbons.
– Paradoxically, it is the hydrocarbon energy that has become the brake on the entire world economy, which is experiencing stagnation not only for environmental reasons, but also for the high cost of hydrocarbon fuel in production costs. The facts are that inefficient energy is leading to public discontent and riots. If now mankind went on steam locomotives with 5% efficiency, then the standard of living would be correspondingly low. The internal combustion engine has an efficiency of more than 30%, and it is he who determines the higher welfare of society. This is the limit, and further economic growth is possible only by increasing the efficiency of energy cycles based on the use of fundamentally new non-hydrocarbon energy.
Humanity began to master nuclear energy in the middle of the last century. It seemed to us that this colossal energy was a technical limit. But astrophysicists discovered dark matter and dark energy. And the dark energy gradient realizes itself as a natural quantum engine, forcing galaxies to move with acceleration on the scale of the Universe. This is shown in my quantum theory of Superunification. I can give an exact numeral showing how many times the concentration of dark energy is greater than nuclear. But I will not scare anyone; specialists with this colossal numeral can themselves get acquainted in my works. We have already managed to use dark energy inside a quantum engine. And its very first tests showed that a quantum engine is more than a hundred times more efficient and economical than the best liquid rocket engine - LRE! This is a clear example of the effectiveness of new energy and space technologies that use dark energy in practice.
– Scientists have been writing about black holes for a long time and they refer to Einstein's general theory of relativity (GR). But only now the Nobel Prize was given to the oldest, 89-year-old English physicist Roger Penrose, who has been studying black holes since 1965. But we have one oddity - the prize should be awarded within a year from the moment of the scientific discovery according to the will of Nobel himself. We see that more than half a century has passed in this case. One of the real contenders for this award, the famous astrophysicist Stephen Hawking did not wait for it and left us in 2018. Why did the Nobel committee wait so long?
– Einstein himself did not believe in the existence of black holes, and he does not have a single scientific article devoted to black holes. Therefore, Einstein probably would have turned over in his grave when he learned that black holes are "a robust prediction of the general theory of relativity", as noted in the Nobel Committee's submission. In this case, the Nobel committee had to present experimental facts, for example, the magnitude of the measured radius of a real black hole in the center of our galaxy, in order to convince us that this radius of a black hole corresponds to its calculated in the theory of relativity. But this was not done. Let me remind you how for years they were looking for the mass of the Higgs boson at CERN, the magnitude of which was supposed to coincide with the theory. And only after that the Nobel Prize was awarded, although not unambiguously. But in this case, we were not presented with a single experimental numeral for black holes and unfoundedly announced the complete connection between the experiment and theory. Therefore, the Nobel Committee for more than half a century could not make a decision on black holes because there were experts respecting themselves and science who adhered to the Nobel testament and did not go for forgery. But the good old days are over and we end up seeing brazen scientific falsification.
– It turns out that the Nobel Committee is deceiving us all by passing off wishful thinking. What results must be presented to us to qualify for the Nobel Prize?
– Yes, we are deceived and this deception is obvious. We have not seen any experimental figures confirm the theory. But physics is a science that requires experimental confirmation. A theory not experimentally confirmed is just a hypothesis. But the Nobel Prize is not awarded for physical hypotheses. In this case, we are faced with the unprecedented fact when the Nobel Prize is awarded for a working hypothesis that is not experimentally verified numerically. At the same time, no one belittles the scientific merits of respected physicists, especially Roger Penrose.
But in the world there are thousands of other honored theoretical physicists working at the level of creating new hypotheses that are far from their experimental confirmation. As the analysis shows, the scientific work on black holes presented for the award is not logically complete. We can state that all research on black holes is still at the initial stage of development, when a theoretical and experimental base is being formed, which is not ready to link theory with experiment at this stage. I am not satisfied with the level of responsibility and qualifications of the members of the Nobel Committee when they make decisions, believing that there are only idiots around, unable to see the scientific fraud.
This applies, for example, to string theory, the theoretical level of development of which is the highest. But no one can propose a method for experimentally testing this theory. Therefore, strings remain hypothetical objects, work in the field of which cannot be accepted for consideration by the Nobel committee. I can give other similar examples.
– Are we really dealing with scientific falsification?
– Everything was presented subjectively because there is no correct experiment. To correctly stage an experiment with a black hole, it is necessary to know the physical properties of black holes, their internal structure. We must understand the mechanism of mass formation for a black hole inside its gravitational well. Only the gravitational well is capable of holding the stars around the black hole to form the disk of the galaxy. But general relativity does not have a method for calculating the gravitational well inside dark matter. This calculation is only shown in the theory of Superunification. The size of a galaxy is determined by the size of its gravitational well and the gravitational radius of the black hole which are mathematically related to each other. Astrophysicists need a new method of experimental study of galaxies and a black hole, the size of which is related to the size of the galaxy. However, it is not possible to do this now without involving my theory of Superunification, dark matter and dark energy. But nobody knows the theory of Superunification theory at the moment. And dark matter and dark energy for modern astrophysicists is a dark forest.
– Don't the famous physicists nominated for the Nobel Prize understand the essence of the problem?
– Yes, they all understand perfectly well what they are doing wrong, but lobbying for the interests of individual groups and their desire to become a laureate prevails over common sense. And this is an ethical problem, not a scientific one. In my book, long ago I published dozens of sensational physical hypotheses in the field of cosmology. But the Nobel Prize in this case, I cannot count. We need to test the theory by experiment.
So, in this 2020, I created a device that allows you to detect the field of quantons as particles of dark matter. Quanton is a quantum of space-time. This is probably the only case in history when the author of the fundamental theory of Superunification confirmed it experimentally. These materials have been published and the experiments can be successfully repeated in the leading laboratories of the world. I am starting to send the results of my experiments with dark matter to the members of the Nobel Committee. These materials must be reviewed within one year of Nobel's will. We will see how this Nobel testament is being carried out in reality.
But it is too early to talk about experimental verification of Einstein's general relativity in the field of black holes. More than 100 years have already passed when in 1916 the German physicist Schwarzschild published a formula for the limiting compression of matter, which later began to determine the radius of a black hole as a result of gravitational collapse. Astrophysicists were unable to carry out an experiment to measure the gravitational radius of a black hole in the center of our galaxy and compare it with calculations. The fact is that the resolution of modern telescopes is insufficient to measure the gravitational radius of a black hole. And there are problems with estimating the mass of a black hole. Their mass is not precisely determined. As you can see, modern astrophysics is not able to check the validity of general relativity (GR) in the region of black holes.
– What achievements do you personally have in the field of black holes?
– I first created the quantum theory of black holes, the theory of quantum gravity, and the quantum theory of relativity. This is a scientific breakthrough in understanding the nature of quantum gravity. These scientific advances are published in my quantum theory of Superunification which is Unified Field Theory or Theory of Everything. Nobody has been able to create anything like this in theoretical physics. This is a world-class fundamental breakthrough. At the same time, I confirmed experimentally my theoretical discoveries. This is an antigravitational quantum engine and a device for registering the field of dark matter particles.
And of course, the basis of black holes is the quantum theory of gravity. It is on the surface of a black hole that is inside a colossal gravitational pit that the gravitational field reaches its maximum value. Geometric graphics in the form of drawings of gravitational well are presented in GR, but it does not have a mathematical apparatus that calculates them. To mathematically describe the gravitational pit for a black hole, we need an elastic light-carrying medium as a new electromagnetic static field, which is an elastic dark matter tissue. Only in this case can we deform the elastic dark matter tissue (Einstein curvature) and describe it mathematically as a model of a black hole. The process of spherical deformation of elastic dark matter tissue in the theory of Superunification is represented by a two-component solution of the Poisson gravitational equation. In doing so, we can analyze for the outer and inner regions of the black hole. This cannot be done within the framework of general relativity. Professor Roger Penrose could not do this either. The elastic dark matter tissue is represented in the theory of Superunification as quantized space-time.
The theory of Superunification is the logical conclusion of Einstein's general theory of relativity (GR). We need to remember that GR as a theory of gravity in curved space-time was not completed by Einstein. Einstein's followers also failed to solve this problem. Einstein, at the end of his life, disappointed in this, offered to start all the work over again, but admitted that he did not know how to do it. Indeed, how can a geometric void are curved? To fill this gap in physics, astrophysicists introduced the concepts of dark matter and dark energy based on astronomical observations. In parallel, I developed the theory of a quantized universe into the theory of Superunification after in 1996 I introduced the concept of a quantum of space-time into theoretical physics and called it quantum. The quantized space-time is the global electromagnetic static field of the Universe, which is represented by the elastic dark matter tissue, consisting of quantons. And in 2020, I created a device that, for the first time in the world, registered the field of quantons as particles of dark matter [xx].
A new parameter that replaced the Einstein curvature was the gradient of the quantum density of dark matter (medium), which describes any gravitational field as a result of spherical deformation of dark matter. The very quantum density of the medium as a new parameter of the Universe is the concentration of quantons per unit volume of the elastic dark matter tissue. The mathematical apparatus for describing the Universe is vector analysis and the theory of elasticity. The new mathematical apparatus is much simpler and clearer than Lobachevsky geometry with its geometric curvature.
A black hole is formed in the limiting case of spherical deformation of elastic dark matter tissue. This is the new quantum theory of black holes. Massive black hole forms a gigantic gravitational well in the center of each galaxy. It is the gravitational well that holds the star clusters inside the galaxy itself around the black hole. The rotational motion of stars around a black hole and the curvilinear motion of the galaxies themselves in an inhomogeneous Universe give galaxies a disk shape under the action of Coriolis forces. We know about 100 billion galaxies, each of which has a black hole in the center! The Nobel Committee will soon be unable to award prizes for every black hole discovered by astronomers.
Physicists believe that the strong gravitational field of a black hole is so great that a quantum of light cannot leave it and make the black hole invisible. The invisibility of black holes is a barrier for astronomers to visually observe. The theory of Superunification provides new techniques and possibilities for experimental observation of black holes that can be used by astronomers.

– The general theory of relativity did not solve the problem of black holes, contrary to the statement of the Nobel Committee. For more than a century, few people understand Einstein. The theory of Superunification is not taught at universities. What are you hoping for?
– I hope that time will put everything in its place. I first discovered the quanton – particle of time. I hope for talented youth for whom science is becoming the goal of life, just like for me. And for this you don't have to leave the country and study science abroad. You will not learn anything new there. I did everything working in my laboratory. Last year I talked with a Western professor, he bought my book, but he could not master it. To my question: "Why?" he pragmatically answered: “Who will pay me for the fact that within a year I will study more than 700 pages of a fundamentally new text? It is you Russians who can afford to work on enthusiasm alone, but for us it is a luxury”.
I know several young people who are passionate about the theory of Superunification and in them I see the prospect of the development of fundamental science in the country. A country lacking fundamental science is doomed to economic backwardness and poverty. The world is shifting to a new technological order and the new theory of Superunification should become one of its pillars. I am sure that Russia will still give the world new Korolevs and Kurchatovs, who will create fundamentally new spaceships with quantum engines, and the new Gagarins will lead them to the Moon and Mars. There is a powerful groundwork for this. And this is not only an antigravity quantum engine, the design of which is today a state secret! And the Nobel Committee - let it rest.
